Haven Humane Society promotes the humane treatment of animals through sheltering, spay/neuter, adoption, community education, rescue, and animal regulations. Haven Humane Society's vision is of a community working together for a North State with no more homeless pets.

Haven Humane Society has proudly served Shasta County since 1952. We place animals in new forever homes, return pets to their lost owners, rescue and care for animal cruelty victims, and spay and neuter thousands of animals a year to help decrease the homeless pet population. Haven Humane's Veterinary Hospital provides spay, neuter, and medical services for animals at the shelter and medical care for 501c3 nonprofits, shelters, and the public.

Your support is instrumental in ensuring that we can continue to give the animals a second chance at a happy and healthy life. Please donate or start your own fundraiser by sharing your own adoption story above.

Testimonials:

J. Robertson- "I truly appreciate the services you do for our community. It cannot be easy having to take in all the abandoned and unwanted pets. I appreciate that you provide an avenue for people to adopt healthy animals, along with pet education and a neutering clinic.
