Friends of the Siskiyou County Museum

Friends of the Siskiyou County Museum is an all-volunteer organization. One of the things we are most proud of is the scholarships we award to Siskiyou County High School seniors, including those planning to attend a trade school,  made possible by your generous Giving Tuesday contributions. In 2021 we awarded two scholarships, in 2022 we awarded three and in 2023 we awarded two more.

The Friends of the Siskiyou County Museum run all of the day-to-day operations of the Siskiyou County Museum in Yreka, CA. This means we meet, greet and guide visitors, field research requests, run the Museum Store and Research Library, put on fun and educational presentations, host school field trips, maintain and improve the 7 acre Outdoor Museum, and much more.
