Mission Statement

Where there's a need, you will find Rotarians!

Our motto is "service above self". We show up with hands-on volunteers and provide financial support so our many partners and projects like those listed below - and more to be discovered - can thrive.

The Rotary Club of Mt. Shasta, made up of your neighbors and friends, is passionate about serving both our local and global communities with projects that benefit our youth, our community, outdoor recreation, health & nutrition, and an international rainwater catchment program we host in Tanzania. We raise money through local events, grants we are awarded, North State Giving Tuesday fundraising, and in partnership with other local non-profits. These funds are invested directly back into our community along with many volunteer hours by our members and their friends.

Testimonials

"Rotary is a 'bottom-up' organization. It is the members who get things done. Putting a focus on club service and service to each other will help strengthen our camaraderie and build stronger partnerships." - L. Meyer

"Establishing the Peace Grove at Shastice Park will hopefully serve to remind all of Rotary's commitment to peaceful solutions, at home and around the globe." - K. Morter

"The Lake Siskiyou project has exceeded all expectations," said Monty Currier, Environmental Fisheries Scientist for CA Department of Fish and Wildlife's Northern Region (DFW). "It has really become a model for others in our program and generated interest beyond our region."

It is often said, "If you want something done, ask a Rotarian." The Mt. Shasta Rotarians embody a spirit of "can-do" and invite like-minded individuals to join as a member of the Club.
