CASA- The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program provides one-on-one support to Foster Youth. CASA trains and mobilizes community volunteers- to advocate and make a difference for abused and neglected children in foster care.

Affordable Housing- We currently have 13 housing complexes across 4 Counties! With more than 280 units available, we provide affordable housing options with a focus on low-income families, HUD, those with special needs, and the elderly.

Emergency Relief- Our state has been severely affected by extreme weather. Our Emergency Service programs help victims navigate through their losses by providing outreach and case management services to support those who are recovering from extreme loss.

Healthy Families- The Healthy Families Shasta County program is a national program model designed to help expectant and new parents get their children off to a healthy start. It is open to parents of all ages who are expecting, or who have a child under the age of 3 months.

TAPP- The Teenage Pregnancy and Parenting Program helps Teen Parents to see what is positive in their life. They work closely with a case manager to focus on their strengths, explore values, and set goals for their future.

Peer-to-Peer Wellness Centers - NVCSS has 3 Peer-led Wellness Centers that provide member-directed services that foster wellness, recovery, and resiliency to those living with mental illness. All services are FREE and open to members of the public 18 years old and over.

Cal Works- This program offers a wide range of job-specific tools to help individuals be successful. The instructor for the courses is bilingual, which serves the majority of the demographic population of service recipients.

Threads of Hope (Clothes that Work!)- Offering work-appropriate outfits free of charge (with a referral) or at a fair price to those in need who have upcoming job interviews. This program runs off of generously donated, gently used clothing items and is open to the public Monday-Friday with extended hours coming soon!

Immigration Legal Services- This program offers limited legal immigration services to foreign-born individuals and their families, most of whom reside in Tehama County. The Immigration Legal Services Program helps to strengthen families, lift families out of poverty, and strengthen American society.
