Siskiyou Land Trust

Welcome to The Siskiyou Land Trust! We are a community based non-profit organization that permanently conserves and stewards the irreplaceable wild places, watersheds, and working lands that are the heart of Siskiyou County. Founded in 1993 to promote long-term land stewardship, we work with willing landowners, agencies, and organizations to acquire land and conservation easements through a variety of flexible approaches. 

Siskiyou Land Trust believes that meaningful conservation of our local land is essential to the health and joy of our community.

As an organization, we are aiming to conserve 100,000 acres by 2030. We are proud of each of the 42,000 acres we have protected and currently steward, but we have a long way to go to reach this ambitious but necessary goal.
