A bike park is an asset for a healthy outdoor community! Bike Parks support mental health initiatives via social interactions, physical activity, and skill building.
This bike park will improve Caldwell Park by increasing positive use in a currently underutilized area that is at risk for fire, vandalism and transient camps. It will serve as an event area for future Redding Trail Alliance events and fundraisers.
It will facilitate skill building for all ages which results in better bike handling abilities and less accidents while out exploring the plethora of trails Redding has to offer.
The best part is that the Redding Bike Park will be free to use!
While this project is being undertaken in partnership with the City of Redding, the specific tasks that Redding Trail Alliance is handling (paved pump track, signage, skills loop and jump line) will be accomplished by funds we raise.
The paved pump track was completed earlier this year. Check out the video below!
