"How much does it cost to build a mile of trail?"  This question comes up a lot.  There is no cookie-cutter price for trails so it's a hard one to answer. We'll spare you the boring details and just say it can be anywhere from $10-$30,000 per mile!

As part of our Swasey Expansion Project, we built 2 new trails last year.  The addition of the Ono trail is ground-breaking in that it offers a new form of technically challenging type of terrain that has been lacking within our existing trail system.  It is a double black diamond trail compared to our current trail ratings and challenges users in an unprecedented way!

Igo trail is a multi-directional, multi-use trail that opened up new views and a more sustainable route than the previously used Cosmos trail to gain access to Mule Ridge and the Swasey side of the trail system.

We have roughly 3 more miles of trail to build to finish out this expansion project!  A flowy green rated trail, a blue trail, and the uppermost 1/2 mile of Ono that will drop in from the top of Mule Mountain Summit.  This will cost roughly $40,000.00 between clearing the alignment and active construction.  The more funds we raise, the quicker we can finish them and open them up for public use.

Your support is greatly appreciated!
