Life Light Boutique

Life Light Pregnancy Help Center, has been helping women and their families in Shasta County since 1981. We believe every woman deserves to be loved and supported during a pregnancy. We are about equipping and empowering women to make the best decision. We support women and their families by offering

•  Free (self Administered, lab quality) Pregnancy Test
• Referral for free ultrasound
• Pregnancy and Parenting classes
• Boutique, with items for Moms and babies
• Mentoring and life skills

When a woman seeks our services she usually calls when she is in a crisis and doesn't know where to turn. She has just found out she is pregnant and now finds herself in a life changing event.  Our clients need emotional and material support. We are able to offer a boutique, just for our clients, full of baby needs, diapers and much more.

Flourish

We also have a special program for just Moms, called Flourish. We noticed a need for our moms to be pampered as well as being able to get things for the baby. Flourish is a shelf just for our Moms and is filled with donations and gift cards for Moms, to treat themselves or their families.

One of our clients came to us with one child, and pregnant with another baby. She was unsupported by the babies father and had no family in the area. She came fearful, and worried about how she would support her growing family. We were able to come alongside her by doing one-on-one lessons to help her grow as a Mom and be able to stand on her own.  By doing the lessons it gave her the ability to shop in our boutique, full of new and used baby items as well as things for her. After she had the baby she continued on with her lessons to become the best Mom possible. This lady went on to college and is currently working on her college degree. 

Our boutique is filled by generous donations from the community. Baby items, new and gently used, fill our boutique. We are able to stock diaper- size newborn to size 6, baby clothes- sizes Newborn to 24 month. We also have quilts, flannel wraps, burp cloths, nursing covers and much more.
