Tech Trek is a science and technology camp serving girls in middle school. Campers are nominated by their 7th grade teachers. Families pay only $50 to send a girl to camp.

Tech Trek is a weeklong science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) summer camp for eighth-grade girls. It develops girls' interest, excitement, and self-confidence in STEM fields.

AAUW research report, “Why So Few Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics” shows how important Tech Trek is. What happens at Tech Trek doesn’t stay at Tech Trek.  Introducing girls to STEM by middle school is a catalyst to graduating college with a STEM degree and putting that education to use.

What our girls say about their experience:

Abigail:  "I was so happy when I was nominated to  attend this camp. I extracted strawberry DNA and made rice krispies using DNA samples! I also got to see a lung and learn about some different diseases.  Thank you so much for your support."

Melody:  "Thank you for helping me attend the STEM Tech Trek Camp, my first camp ever!  I learned so much and met amazing girls."

Mary:  "I so enjoyed my data analysis class and the entomology museum.  Thank you for the opportunity."

Prema: "I really enjoyed the fire day camp; this made my summer so much brighter.  Tech Trek has helped my figure out what my passions are.  I feel so lucky I was able to join this amazing camp."

Gracie:  "I wouldn't have truly opened my eyes to the possibilities for college and a future STEM career without this camp.  Again, thank you for this once-in-a-lifetime experience."

Madison: " I really learned to focus on teamwork, listening to instructions.  I am very interested in a STEM career such as criminology, architecture and marine biology.

Alexis:  "When I secure a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) I want to solve endangered species' population decline using trackers and a satellite. We can solve these problems and connecting with Tech Trek girls will help.  Thank you for nominating me to attend this camp."
